Poi (plural without s; not "pois"; the word derives from Maori and means ball) have their origin in New Zealand and date back to about 1000 years ago. Women performed the courtship display with poi in order to find a partner.
Even today, the game with the chains is often combined with dance and music. Furthermore, there are fire poi that are recommended to experienced poi jugglers only.
For schools, we recommend the Kiwido that guarantees wonderful images with its long tails.
